Claims and seats

Non-transferable claims, entry rank, the talent claim

Claims

A claim is a unit of position in one market. Six decimals, priced in dollars, minted by buying and burned by selling.

Claims are non-transferable. The market has balanceOf and nothing else: no transfer, no approve, no allowance, no ERC-20 surface. A position does not move between wallets, and is not gifted or sold privately.

What follows from that:

  • The curve is the only price. No venue trades claims at a different one.
  • A dated position is not acquirable after the fact. The receipt means what it says.
  • A lost wallet is a lost position. There is no transfer to recover through.

Position cost

Every wallet's net cost basis on a market lives on chain (positionCost). It grows with each buy and shrinks proportionally with each sell.

The anti-whale guard of a young market measures cost, not claims. Because cost shrinks when you sell, exiting frees your room under the cap.

The seat

Being early is the product, so being early is recorded.

  • Entry rank: the order in which wallets first took a position. Rank 1 is the creator, by construction: the market's first purchase happens inside the creation transaction.
  • First believers: the earliest holders of a market, with the date they entered.
  • Conviction receipt, a shareable dated proof of a position: the profile, the date, how far ahead of the consensus it landed.

All of it derives from chain events. The block number is the timestamp that counts.

Scouts

A scout is a public identity attached to a wallet: a handle and a page. It turns "an address bought early" into "this person called it".

Scouts carry a public page of their calls and appear on the leaderboard. A call shows what the scout held at that moment and whether they still hold it. A scout who sold everything is shown as having sold everything. The receipt is not a marketing surface.

The distance between a dated call and a dated fact is what separates luck from sight. See Events on the curve.

The talent claim

The person a market is about claims their own profile.

What it takes. Control of a known official channel, plus confirmation through their club or representative, or a short live video check. Approval is a human decision recorded by the admin.

What it gives.

The check markThe market is publicly marked verified
Half the creator shareFrom the next trade on, the talent takes half of the creator's share: 0.35 % of volume. It comes out of the creator's share, never out of the reserve or the platform's
Their first believersWho put conviction on them before anyone else, with dates

What it does not give. No control over the market, the price, the curve or the reserve. No pause, no closure, no delisting. No claim on fees accrued before verification. The split is never retroactive, and nothing is escrowed against a claim that never arrives.

A talent's key rotates through the admin. It never resets to nobody: a verified market stays verified.

No community takeovers

Holders do not seize a market from its creator, rewrite its metadata, or vote on its parameters. A creator's seat is permanent and non-transferable, exactly like a claim.

The value of a dated position comes entirely from the fact that nothing about it is rewritable later.
